About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
The Alliance Foundation is the philanthropic partner of Alliance Healthcare Services, supporting critical mental health programs and expanding access to compassionate, high-quality care across Memphis and Shelby County. We connect generous individuals, corporate leaders, and community partners to programs that serve those most in need—especially children, youth, families, veterans, and individuals facing crisis.
Every dollar we raise helps remove barriers to care, strengthens behavioral health services, and brings innovative wellness initiatives to life across our region.
Together, we are building a future where mental health is met with dignity, urgency, and community.

Our Story
Founded to strengthen and sustain the lifesaving work of Alliance Healthcare Services, the Alliance Foundation exists to spark hope through philanthropy. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, we rely on charitable gifts to continue this work.
For more than 50 years, Alliance Healthcare Services has provided essential mental health and substance use services across Memphis and Shelby County. From crisis care to outpatient therapy, mobile support to housing programs, Alliance has become the region’s largest nonprofit behavioral health provider.
The Alliance Foundation was formed to ensure that these services can grow and reach more people - especially as demand increases and our community faces a mental health emergency.
Thanks to donors, partners, and visionary leaders, the Foundation is now supporting one of the most ambitious mental health projects in Tennessee: the creation of a full Crisis Wellness Campus, including the new Children and Youth Crisis Wellness Center, scheduled to open in early 2026.
We invite you to join us in transforming lives -one program, one partnership, and one gift at a time.
